Dear Lucia, Gene, Jan, and David, I am so saddened to learn of the passing of your father. John was such a special man and a wonderful neighbor and friend to me for the past forty eight years. His deep love of family, delightful sense of humor, and endless creative talents set him apart as an outstanding human being. I will truly miss his many holiday and birthday cards and wishes with his enjoyable and interesting notes. As you know, I am now in Florida but sincerely wish that I was home in order to share this sadness, loss, and grief with all of you. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you stoically face this difficult time. John will never be forgotten and every memory will bring a smile to my face. A life well lived!
