To David & family: I am truly very sorry that you lost your mother. Marie and I met back in 1980 when we both worked at Park Transportation providing rides for those with limited mental disabilities. After a few years there, we went to the Worcester RTA to provide the same services. She was my bus monitor for those years and we had a "Mother & Son" relationship where she would "make sure I stayed on the right track", so to speak. I learned so much from her especially about respect. On one of my mother's visits from Pennsylvania, I took her (my Mom) to visit Marie and it was like "My 2 Moms" getting together. when Marie was at Beaumont, I would bring her favorites: spaghetti & meatballs and sausages. I would tell her to make sure she ate because I was going to ask the nurses on the next Saturday when I come up with more. Marie will always be in my heart. She met my sons when they were small and we would take them on our bus route at times. She is going to be missed very, very much by me and I'm certain by many others. She was the best!
