Obituary for Pearl R. Tyree (Mominee)
- Pearl Rita (Mominee) Tyree, passed away peacefully in Webster, MA on Thursday March 31, 2016, she was 96.
She was born in Worcester, MA on February 21, 1920 a daughter of the late Delia M. & Rehnie P. Mominee. Pearl’s older sister Arlene Scott passed away in 1978. Her husband, Hal L. Tyree Sr. passed away in 1987, followed by her granddaughter Kaitlyn Bergstrom in 1995 & her oldest child Hal Jr. in 2006.
She was raised in Worcester, working for the former F.W. Woolworth Co. during the 1930’s. She was an air raid warden in Worcester during World War II & after the war until her children were born working for Lobel’s clothing store in Worcester. She returned to work in 1971 for Anderson Little Co. until the company closed its doors in 1992. She was 72 at the time of her retirement.
She is survived by her younger sister Phylis Kriz of Naugatuck, CT, her daughter Sandra Bergstrom of Auburn, Ma, a son, Kevin Tyree of North Adams, MA, 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Bryant of Florida, Kristen Hubbard of Three Rivers, MA, Ashley Tyree of Millbury, MA, Sean Tyree of Leesville, LA and many great grandchildren. Her most cherished time was spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and all that knew her.
At Pearl's request, there will be a private service for family at the Hillside Cemetery in Auburn, MA where she will join her husband, son & granddaughter.
