Obituary for Frances E. Mandella (Quinn)

Frances E. Mandella (Quinn)
Frances E. (Quinn) Mandella, 96, passed away on December 31, 2015 after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Alfred A. Mandella.
She leaves her three daughters, Carol Trotto of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Marilyn Mandella and her husband, Robert Dobbs of Auburn and Linda Mandella and her partner, Carlton Neuben of Marstons Mills. She leaves six grandchildren, Jacqueline Feddy and her husband, Sheldon of Las Vegas, NV, John Trotto and his wife, Rae of Osterville, Loriann Madore and her husband, Chris Gourley of Sturbridge, Geriann Dumas and her husband, Ted of Holden, Lisa Propati and her husband, Vinny of Cherry Hill, NJ, Brian Roughan and his wife, Kerry of Cambridge, Jill Roughan of San Diego, CA and Mary Rivenburgh of Auburn. She also leaves fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

While raising her family, Frances worked as a bridal consultant at Charles Kay. Later she and her husband would share many memories in Worcester, Sturbridge, Hyannisport and Barefoot Bay, FL. After Alfred's passing in 1994, she moved to Auburn where she enjoyed volunteering at Fallon Clinic. Later, one of her favorite "jobs" was working with her daughter, Marilyn, at her hair salon. She continued with this into her early-90's and said that it kept her young.

Frances loved spending time with her devoted family and they shared much laughter together. Her family will miss hearing those precious words she spoke so often... "love you more." Those loving words will continue to be spoken by her family in her memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Frances’s family on Saturday, January 9th from 8:30AM - 9:30AM in BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. A funeral Mass will follow at 10AM at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Burial will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at the Auburn Elks following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to show a random act of kindness to someone in Frances’s memory.
