Princess Iveta Ice, you are so beautiful, and appear to me like a goddess in every picture that I see. I wish that I had been lucky enough to know the joy of skating with you, or even simply having the honour of being on the ice with you in this lifetime. Looking at your picture now, I feel so strongly as if Heaven became ten thousand times more beautiful and brighter the day you entered the Kingdom of Paradise. Iveta meant so much to me and to so many others. Her passing came much too soon, but her will to live, passion for life, and "never give up" attitude is a lesson that will be passed on to all of her students. When I became ill and had to quit competitive figure skating, whenever I saw Iveta, she always said that I would become healthy and would be able to return to skating. Having someone believe in me and encourage me to keep fighting that much meant a lot; I only wish that we both could have become well and returned to the ice. I would like to make sure that Iveta's family knows the amount of respect and love all of her students had for her and how much she will be missed. She will never be forgotten.

There are not words to describe the way in which Iveta has impacted my life. I will miss Iveta greatly and will always remember the times we shared together. Our relationship evolved so much over the six wonderful years in which I was blessed to have her as part of my life. My lasting impressions and memories of Iveta help to ease the feeling of losing someone of such significance. I know that I am not alone and that many people cannot help but to admire and feel inspired by Iveta’s passion for life. Besides skating, Iveta has influenced me immensely, shaping the person that I am, on and off the ice. She maintained her luminous spirit and strength throughout her battle, causing a change in the way I want to live life. Iveta will never be truly gone, I know that she is watching over us and lives forever through the memories she has created. Thank you for being a part of my life, Iveta. I love you.

I belive that we all follow our fate and Iveta's fate was a cruel one. Being faced with tragedy at young age, separated from her parents and dying such a painfull death was not deserved. She was beatifull, warm, smart, talented,and always so full of life. It comforts me that she met and spent her years in America with a man, who loved her unconditionally. Dmitry you are an amazing person.I'm so sorry you had to lose her to this devastating illness. She would always tell me how much she loved you and that you wore always there when she needed your support. I wished that I would spend more time with her. I will miss you Iveta and I will always remember every moment we spent togather.

I attended the ice show performed in honor of her last September and she must have been a wonderful person to have so many people supporting her. I hope those who knew her will always have their fond memories of her and feel graced by her presence in their lives.
