JOHN TSOMBAKOS WAS ONE OF THOSE RARE PEOPLE THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE AT AN EARLY AGE. HE HAD AN AMAZING ABILITY TO GET AND HOLD THE ATTENTION OF HIS STUDENTS. HE TRULY CARED ABOUT HIS PROFESSION AND CHANGED THE LIVES OF COUNTLESS KIDS THROUGH HIS WIT AND ABILITY TO TEACH. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DID AND YOU WILL TRULY BE MISSED. RIP MY FRIEND

To John's Family, Please accept our sincerest condolences on John's passing. We were on an extended out-of-state visit at the time of his death. My son and I met John at Tahanto. We shared many conversations and fishing trips with him. He was a first-class gentleman always, and was held in the highest regard. Stevie remembers him most fondly- as John was often a substitute teacher in his classes over a time period of several years. I will miss his insightful comments and always pleasant demeanor. Mr. T was one of a kind and was always telling a joke, sharing stories with students and staff, and giving away mints to anyone who would take them! I am so grateful for having Mr. T as a teacher in high school. His class was one of the few classes I did not try to get out of every day. Learned a lot about reading and writing in his class as he loved the subject that he taught. Rest in peace Mr. T I am sure you are reunited with your wife and was welcomed with these words ( Welcome good and faithful servant! you have done well with the skills, gifts and talents I gace you.
