Jean Barbara (Gooding) Quinn, 56, of Auburn died Wednesday April 6, 2011 in Saint Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 37 years, Michael D. Quinn; her three children, Christopher M. (and Lisa) Quinn and Patrick D. Quinn both of Auburn and Molly A. Quinn (and Daniel Phipps) of Southampton, UK; two brothers, her twin, Arthur E. (and Katherine) Gooding of Crystal Lake, IL and James A. (and Mary Ellen) Gooding of Centennial, CO and two sisters, Ann M. Gooding (and Michael) Trask of Golden, CO and Penny L. (and Michael) Kenealy of Glenwood Springs, CO; also survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Alex M. and Charlotte R. Quinn and all of her nieces and nephews.

Jean was born in Pittsfield, MA, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Austin) Gooding. She graduated from Glen Rock High School in Glen Rock, NJ and attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Jean later graduated from Quinsigamond College in Worcester with a degree in Nursing.

Jean was a compassionate and caring Nurse who had worked for many years at the Christopher House and later for the VNA Care Network both in Worcester.

Relatives and friends of Jean’s are invited to visit with her family at the Quinn Family Residence, 129 Prospect Street, Auburn on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 6:00PM for an evening of remembering and honoring Jean’s life.
