Obituary for June I Malone (Pierce)
June I. (Pierce) Malone, 91, of Worcester, formerly of Auburn died peacefully Friday July 6, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
June was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn daughter of the late Arthur G. and Ethel J. (Mellen) Pierce. She attended Auburn High School and after graduation June married her childhood sweetheart Thomas F. Malone, Jr. They had a loving marriage for the next 64 years until his passing in 2014.
She is survived by her children, Kathy A. Scally and her husband Warren of Holden, Thomas F. Malone, III and his wife Christine of Worcester, Maureen Banach and her husband Peter of Worcester and Patricia Burgner and her husband Glenn of Whitinsville; eight grandchildren, Erin, Kayla, Thomas IV, Maura, Michael, Megan, Jena and Melissa; also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Lois and Marion.
June’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.
Funeral and burial plans for June will be held privately for her family.
