Mary E. (Domingue) Guerin, 79, of Auburn formerly of Worcester died Sunday April 22, 2018 in her home.

Mrs. Guerin was born in Bristol, CT daughter of the late Joseph T. and Azilda M. (Bouley) Domingue. She graduated from the College of New Rochelle in New York and later from Assumption College in Worcester with a Master degree in Religious Education.

Mary and her husband James enjoyed nearly 49 years of marriage. He passed in 2011.

Mary worked 25 years for the Diocese of Worcester and treasured her time serving the St. Joseph and Notre Dame Parishes.

She leaves her loving children, Michael E. Guerin and his wife Karen of Gloucester, Robert J. Guerin and his wife Ellen of Sandwich and Carolyn E. Berglund and her husband David of Holden; her cherished seven grandchildren, Michelle, Connor, Griffin, Casey- Rose, Elizabeth, Jennifer, and Olivia; a sister, Margaret Bernache of Farmington, CT; also survived by many extended family members and close friends. Besides her husband Mary was predeceased by a sister Catherine. Mary’s grandchildren, children, extended family and church communities brought her tremendous joy. Many thanks as well to her Auburn PD and Starbuck’s friends for time shared.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 4-7 pm in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral will be on Thursday April 26, 2018 with a funeral Mass celebrated at 10 AM at North American Martyr’s Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made Auburn Police Association, 416 Oxford Street North, Auburn, MA 01501.
