Condolence: To the "girls": please accept my condolences regarding the loss of your Mother. I also share your sorrow as Elva and I were very good friends. We grew up together in main south, attended Gates Lane School and we graduated the class of 1957 from South High school. We shared many great times together just talking, hanging at Drakes, at sport events (she cheered, I played)and many other memories. We dated for a while and I was privileged to be her date when she became the prom Queen. After High school we pursued our career path and occasionally ran into each other somewhere and it was always like the years between meetings never existed. We also worked together at St. Vincent Hospital when I was the CIO. I will never forget the time when I told her that I was leaving SVH and going to UMMC she wished me well, we hugged and I realized that our friendship and caring was still there and always would be. I am sorry for your loss and please keep the many fond memories of the good times you shared close to your heart, as I know I will.
