Condolence: Dear Goggins family,
You are very much in my thoughts and prayers as you gather to celebrate "Jerry's" life and witness. Early in our relationship I remember joining him in a very aggressive game of basketball against John and Bill. He was very supportive of "Dee" in her pursuit of health through running. He was a real "wordsmith" as an editor, writer, and publisher. It was my pleasure to find him again at Thanksgiving dinners with Kate's and Jenn's families. As age contemporaries, we always had much in common....including our aches, pains and dreams. I am sorry I can't join you in you gathering, but know I am with you in thought and prayer as I rejoice in my relationship with your Dad, Father-in-law, and GrandDad!
Condolence: It was my great pleasure to have Gerry at my book club every Thursday at Notre Dame. He was so interested in everything that I read and had so much to share about so many topics. He also allowed me to read his books that he had written and we talked about his thoughts on so many topics. My life was so enriched by having known him. I will miss him, but have been blessed to have known him.
Condolence: MY CONDOLENCES TO THE GOGGINS FAMILY. WE WORKED TOGTHER FOR MANY YEARS ON THE CITY DESK AND WERE GOLF PARTNERS ALONG WITH BOB KIRK. HE WAS A SUPERB NEWSPAPERMAN. I WILL PRAY FOR HIM.
Condolence: I extend sincere condolences to all of the family. I am away on vacation so will be unable to get to the wake and funeral. I will remember him at my Mass on Sunday. He and Deanna are great people.
