Obituary for Anna M Inangelo (Rondinone)

Anna M Inangelo (Rondinone)
Anna M. (Rondinone) Inangelo, 96, of Shrewsbury formerly of Worcester passed away on Sunday January 15, 2017 at Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Shrewsbury.

Anna was born and raised in Worcester oldest child of the late Vincenzo and Fortunata ((Piombino) Rondinone. She attended Worcester Schools and later became a very talented seamstress who worked for many years for Trippi’s Clothing Store first in Worcester and then in Shrewsbury when the store relocated. Anna also had a passion for crocheting; she could design and crochet anything from doilies to bedspreads without a pattern. Many of her family members and babies born at St. Vincent Hospital are fortunate to be the recipients of these “works of art”.

Anna formerly lived at Mount Carmel Apartments in Worcester before moving to Shrewsbury four years ago. She was a former member Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Parish and it’s Golden Years Club. Anna was also a devoted Red Sox Fan.

Anna’s husband John predeceased her in 1992. She is survived by her loving daughter Anne Fagan and her husband, Thomas of Worcester; a grandson, Matthew Fagan and his wife April of Clayton, NC; two devoted sisters, Antoinette M. Ricciardi of South Dennis and Mary P. Johnson of Shrewsbury; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Anna was predeceased by a son, George who died in 1958; two brothers, John and Ralph Rondinone; and two sisters, Madeline Inangelo and Irene Biscotti.

Anna’s daughter would like to thank the entire staff of Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Compassus Hospice for their compassionate care and kind words each and every day. A special thank you to Nola, who always managed to find a tangled ball of yarn for Anna.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Anna’s family on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am in the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral Mass will follow and will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Saint Mary’s Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Saint John Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to Abbey’s House Inc. 52 High Street, Worcester, and MA 01609.
