Charles S. Kackiela, 70, of Auburn died Friday, September 9, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born and raised in Worcester, MA son of Charles Stanley and Albina R. (Niedzinski) Kackiela. Charles attended Worcester Public Schools and was employed as a pump station operator for the City of Worcester for 21 years retiring in 2015.

Charles is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gail I. (Brick) Kackiela; a sister, Rita Pulaski wife of William Pulaski of Millbury; two brother-in-law’s Kenneth Brick and his wife Linda of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Ronald Brick of Worcester, also survived by several nieces, nephews and a dear aunt Doris Vezina of Auburn.

Mrs. Kackiela and her family wishes to thank JHC Hospice, Laura’s Angels of Worcester and a true special thanks to Michael and Kellie for all of their compassionate care and help during these past months.
