Patricia (George) “Pat” Chakalis, 78, of Framingham formerly of East Douglas, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in UMASS University Campus after an illness surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born in Douglas, Massachusetts daughter of the late James P. and Cecelia (Geotis) George. She graduated from Douglas High School.

She leaves her only child, Christine Dillon and her husband, Sean of Auburn; three grandchildren, Danielle Gosselin, Michael and Brian Dillon of Auburn; also survived by Stacey, Amanda and Alison Berg, of Auburn, whom she loved as her own; three sisters, Martha Sugalski , Evangeline Wilson and Lorraine George; a brother, Peter George; also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patricia’s family on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 5-8 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 9:30 AM in Saint Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 37 Lake Parkway, Webster, MA. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
