AUBURN- Dorothy E. “Dottie” (Frail) Magerowski, 88, of Auburn died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Knollwood Nursing Home in West Boylston.

Dorothy was born in Springfield, Vermont and raised in Worcester daughter of the late Arthur H. and Lida G. (Cobb) Frail and has lived in Auburn since 1972. She graduated for Commerce High School.

She had worked for Parker Manufacturing Company in Worcester for over 35 years before she retired.

Her husband, James J. Magerowski died in 2013. She leaves her two sons, Albert W. “Bill” Brown and his wife, Nancy of Oxford and David A. Brown and his wife, Sandra of Millbury; also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all nine of her siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dorothy’s family on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 PM in the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St, Auburn. A prayer service celebrating her life will be on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
