AUBURN – Pauline C. (Blanchard) Brooks, 83, died on Tuesday January 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of Louis O. and Rose A. (Parenteau) Blanchard. She was predeceased in 2002 by her husband, Roy C. Brooks. She leaves her seven children; Ruthie A. McCumber and her husband, Michael of Worcester, June E. Sulminski of Auburn, Deborah L. Brooks of Auburn, Avis M. Wade of Worcester, Donna J. Burns of Wilmington, Brian R. Brooks of Derry, NH, and Melanie T. Mathews and her husband, Earl of Douglas; twelve grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Blanchard of Worcester. She was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Laird.

In her free time Pauline enjoyed crocheting, she loved reading a good book; and was always ready for a game of Bingo.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Pauline’s family on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10AM-11AM in BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn. A prayer service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
