SHREWSBURY- Robert R. Valerio, 56, of Shrewsbury passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Rob was born in Cambridge, son of the late Anthony J. and Frances M. (Toner) Valerio. He was raised in Somerville and in his teens moved to California where he graduated from National City High School. He later moved back to Massachusetts and spent many years in the Boston area as a property manager.

Rob had varied interests including birdwatching, antique cars and had an avid interest in the western theme.

He leaves his fiancée, Nancy J. Eaton of Shrewsbury; future mother-in-law Carolyn Eaton; beloved pets Shelly and Mandygirl; a brother, Anthony Valerio of Lawrence; three sisters, Jeanette Russell of Apopka, Florida, Barbara and Mary-Ann Valerio both of New Bedford, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard Valerio who died in 2014.

At Robert’s request funeral and burial services will be private.
