SHREWSBURY- Kim A. Degerstrom, 56, Shrewsbury, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 in UMASS University Campus surrounded by her loving family.

Her husband, of 25 years, Robert E. Degerstrom died in 2010; she leaves a daughter, Emily K. Degerstrom of Shrewsbury; her father, Paul A. Holle of Shrewsbury; a sister, Elizabeth Holle Hughes and her husband, Steven of Douglas; sister-in-law, Anna Maria Eberlin and her husband, Kris of Northborough; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Kim was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Katheryne (Cole) Holle.
She graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1976. Kim had worked many years as a bookkeeper in the business offices of the former Gaston Andrey, Diamond Chevrolet and Accusoft Corporation.

Kim loved being able to spend quality time with her daughter; she also enjoyed reading, cooking and passing time at the family home on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kim’s family on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5-7 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Funeral and burial will be private in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Donations in Kim memory can be made to the Kennedy-Donovan Center-Milford, 1 Commercial St, Foxboro, MA 02035, Attn: Maria Barbosa.
