Worcester-H. Linnea (Ehn) Eldridge, of College Street, died Saturday April 20 2013 in her home after a long and wonderful life. She was 96.
She is the wife of the late Frederick H. Eldridge, who died in 2002. They were married 56 years.
She was born in Worcester on March 12th, 1917. She was the daughter of the late A. Oscar and Carolina M. (Karlsson) Ehn, and lived her entire life on College Street. She is survived by several cousins and nieces.
Mrs. Eldridge was a 1935 graduate of the Commerce High School in Worcester where she was a Horace Mann Student.
Linnea worked for the Paul Revere Life Insurance Co, where she supervised the legal department.
Linnea was a 70 year member of Pakachoag Church in Auburn. She served the Church Clerk for over 20 years, and served on its Missionary board. She was a life Member of the Green Mountain Club, Worcester Section.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at 10:30 AM in Saturday April27, 2013 in the Hillside Cemetery 65 Central Street Auburn. In accordance with her wishes, there are no calling hours.
